Do you contemplate adding a pole barn structure to your property? Well, there are various benefits of this contemporary building, including
Easy Maintenance
You want your cabin or lodge to be in excellent condition at all times. But it would also be exhausting if you had to spend so much time and money on maintenance. With other types of buildings, you might need to retouch the paint or repair leaking fixtures constantly. On the contrary, metal comes with infused paint that can last for decades without losing its appeal.
Available Styles
Light-Gauge Steel Buildings
Light-gauge steel buildings use the same technique as the one used in wood framing. Notably, in light-gauge buildings, the steel is cut to the needed length at the construction site. Ideally, the studs are places about 16” to 24” apart on the light-gauge framing.
A significant challenge with light-gauge buildings is the thermal break limitation. Should the building be subjected to intense fire, the steel loses its toughness. In the worst-case scenario, the loss of toughness could result in the structure collapsing.

As the name suggests, arch structures are characterized by curved walls and roofs. Arch structures are also commonly known as Quonset huts. Most people incline towards arch structures due to the numerous benefits associated with the style. One of the irresistible benefits is the ease of erecting or taking them down. The cost of construction is also friendly. However, they have a fair share of challenges too. One of the challenges is insulating the building, given the curved nature. The curved appearance also leaves so much of the space unused.
