Cold Formed Steel Building Kits
We have acquired several designs that have already been tested as proven designs using our light gauge steel framing systems. Please feel free to browse our library of homes, cottages, garages, and commercial buildings. If one of these steel building kits works for you, but you still need some customization we are happy to use it as a starting point. Our designers are able to adapt these buildings to local codes regardless of the area you may reside in.
These buildings will come as joist, trusses, and wall kits and depending on their size may still require a general contractor to erect for you. Keep in mind these designs will come as a framing solution. We can help connect you with the necessary ground preparation services required to have a solid starting point that you can then erect the frame of your structure on top of without cladding.
See a kit you like, but need some additional specific changes to it? Not a problem!
Once you have selected the style of your structure next you will need to determine the details of interior placements for electrical, plumbing, and the exterior look. We recommend working with an experienced builder to ensure the rest of the project moves smoothly. Because we are providing the drawings, frames, and structure ahead of time this process may be able to save thousands vs starting from scratch. Remember wind and snow load codes may vary county by county and state by state so we will make sure outlets to get the necessary engineering signoffs or stamps are available to you before you spend any money with us.
Kits from Modern Structural Systems are great for a near endless number of purposes. They are quite sturdy, as cold formed steel has one of the greatest strength to weight ratios of any comparable building material. They are also resistant to termite infestation as well as mold, mildew, and many aspects of long term weathering, doing away with the need for costly chemical treatments.
